He is a leading Commercial litigation specialist with a Certificate in International Contracts from the ICC Institute of World Business Law, Paris, France. Skilled at reviewing complex agreements, correspondences, and legal documents, an expert in courtroom litigation. Well knowledgeable in regulations, laws, and standards procedures and able to translate into forward-thinking business practices. He has handled myriads of complex Oil and Gas transactions and litigations as well as complex commercial litigations both at the trial and appellate courts in Nigeria.
Before he founded Claritas Legal Practitioners he worked with Dorothy Ufot & Co, managed by Mrs. Dorothy Udeme Ufot SAN, BSc, LL.B, LL.M, BL, FCIArb (U.K.), Chartered Arbitrator a distinguished Commercial and Investment Lawyer and an Arbitrator per excellence. He later joined B. Ayorinde & Co (now B.A. Law LLP) where he was mentored by Chief Bolaji Ayorinde SAN, FCIArb, O.F.R on the art of Courtroom Litigation.
Austin, is also a Notary Public for Nigeria, an honour that is reserved and conferred on lawyers who have demonstrated conspicuous probity and honesty in the legal profession.
