Idowu, a seasoned legal practitioner, is a partner in the firm. He bagged the award of the best graduating student in his LL.B final exams. He had his Master of Laws degree with distinction at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, and read for his Ph.D. in Law at Rhodes University, South Africa. He also lectures at the Faculty of Law, Osun State University. Idowu has written several articles in leading academic journals and has received several local and international academic awards and fellowships, the latest being the 2020 Oxford Young Scholar Fellowship.
After his call to the Bar, Idowu was trained in commercial litigation and practices in the law firm of Adebayo & Adebayo in Lagos, where he handled complex cases involving, oil and gas, energy and natural resources, corporate taxation, corporate management, and, finance, among others. He rose to the position of a Senior Associate before he joined Claritas. He is a member of:
